WHO

The goal is to find 100 couples that have been together for at least 30 years. Diverse couples of different races, religions and sexual orientations will be featured.

WHAT

A full-color, 200-300 page book featuring interviews and brilliant photos shot in both color and black and white. Jay Marroquin will also be partnering up with non-profit counseling centers in Houston and New York.

WHERE

Jay Marroquin will travel to 30+ countries in search of amazing couples to photograph + interview, to answer one of life’s eternal questions…what is love?

Jay Marroquin is an American-born, award-winning fashion photographer who celebrates the unique, creative and organic in photography.

Philosophy

Born to immigrant parents, Jay Marroquin has always had the courage to dream big. He realized that through hard work and dedication, dreams became reality.

He believes that a photograph should be creative, evoke emotion and stir the soul. A result of thought, passion, respect for the craft and a celebration of time-honored photography methods. Simply said, a great photograph that has been captured, not created digitally.

Prior to photography, Jay Marroquin competed in professional motorsports in various categories including karting, sports cars and Formula cars. The same competitive and adventurous spirit carries over into all photography projects undertaken by Jay Marroquin.
